Roman Abramovich gives his teenage daughter a £4m 'starter home'

According to reports, Roman Abramovich has given his teenage daughter Anna a relatively modest £4million mews cottage in Belgravia.

The 19-year-old is moving into the three-bedroom cottage after splitting from solicitor fiancé Nikolai Lazarev.

The cottage is the former home of the family's nannies and is co-owned by Roman and his ex-wife Irina, whom he divorced in 2007.

Anna, who is currently refurbishing the cottage, said: "It's my own little haven. I feel more grown up and I can't wait to entertain all my friends round at my own place.

"It is small and cosy, which is just the way I like it. My mum and sisters are just down the road but they don't have a key. I always want to be close to my family and I don't want to live more than 20 minutes away from them."

Anna added that she is learning to drive and that she is paying for the lessons herself.
